SGIJA (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website https://sgija.com and the associated platform and services (collectively, the “Service”).

We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect the same from our users. This notice explains our policies regarding copyright infringement, including user-uploaded content, in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and applicable laws.

1. Ownership of Content

Content on the Service falls into two categories:

Our Content

All original sound packs, samples, loops, previews, images, text, design and other materials created or owned by SGIJA are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Unless otherwise stated, these are licensed to you only for use in your own original musical productions (see our Terms of Service).

User-Uploaded Content

When you upload tracks, profile information, comments or other material (“User Content”), **you retain ownership** of your User Content, subject to the license you grant us below. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your User Content does not infringe any third-party rights.

2. License You Grant to Us

By uploading User Content to the Service, you grant SGIJA a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to:

Host, store, display, reproduce, distribute, and make available your User Content on the Service
Use, reproduce, modify (for technical formatting), and publicly perform/display your User Content in connection with operating, promoting, and improving the Service

This license continues even after you delete your content or close your account, solely to the extent necessary to operate the Service (e.g. backups, caching, search indexes).

3. User Warranty & Responsibility

By uploading any User Content, you represent and warrant that:

You own the content or have all necessary rights and licenses to upload and grant the rights above
Your content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party
Your content complies with all applicable laws

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from your User Content.

4. Reporting Copyright Infringement (DMCA / Takedown Notice)

If you believe that any content on the Service (including user-uploaded content) infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to us containing:

Your physical or electronic signature
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
Identification of the material claimed to be infringing (including URL or location)
Your contact information (address, phone, email)
A statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized
A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act

5. Counter-Notification

If your content was removed due to a copyright notice and you believe it was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification with the required information (see DMCA 512(g)(3)). We may forward it to the original complainant.

6. Repeat Infringers

We may, in our sole discretion, terminate or suspend the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyrights or other intellectual property rights.
